UPDATES at Bay Mills
April 23, 2025

Miron Construction Co., Inc. has made great progress on the hotel expansion and throughout the property. As of now, the employee break room is complete, administrative offices are completed, and west-end bathrooms are completed. The construction team is working on the bathrooms by the 300-400 level hotel entrance, the laundry room area, as well as the drywall and siding on the main expansion building. As the temperatures are warming up we hope this makes it easier on our construction team as they take it one day at a time.
The photo below shows the progress as of April 23, 2025. To the right of the hotel is the poolside area.

Construction Update🔨🚧
The new bathrooms on the main floor have a beautiful tile wall. The old office area is being reconstructed to the new employee breakroom and new offices have been painted!
The construction team is taking it one day at a time, but has made huge progress throughout the property. We can’t wait to see the end result!
Thank you to all of our patrons for your patience and understanding for the temporary and periodic disruptions that construction can have on our operations. We will work hard to minimize its impact upon our guest experience as we work diligently to ensure the best service possible.

BAY MILLS — After years of planning, Bay Mills Resort & Casino will break ground on an expansion project next spring. The $65 million project will generate new employment opportunities, while providing new amenities and space for guests.
BMIC will bid out the project this winter, and expects to break ground in Spring 2023, with completion the following year. DSGW is serving as architect for the project.
“Bay Mills Resort & Casino is well loved by its visitors,” said BMRC General Manager Richard LeBlanc. “This expansion will allow us to take things one step further to meet the needs of our guests, while also providing them with a one-of-a-kind experience on Lake Superior.”
“Bay Mills Indian Community has long been a leader in Indian Country,” said BMIC President Whitney Gravelle. “Expanding our enterprise operations will allow us to continue to grow and become the number one destination in the Upper Peninsula. I’m so proud of our team and our tribal nation for this achievement.”
